Copper Cut Out Final
Finalization 2D Plane: I begin to finalize my rough, I traced my original rough and cut off the ends of the swan so that I can bend it into shape. I originally wanted my stand to bend into a v shape along the back, but I feared that prolonged use would cause the stand to snap. It was then suggested to me that I bend the back of the stand into a U shape instead, this offers more stability for the stand and also solves the problem of the copper potentially snapping. It was easier for me to make the 'unfolded' version of the stan first. I then folded the swan part of the stand up and mirrored it. Final Render: 2D Layout: Final Thoughts: Besides the modeling part, I generally had no idea what I was doing to be honest.
